The musketeer is an adventurer profession who uses their quick casting spells and light attacks to eventually stop an enemy in their tracks. Musketeers learn from an early age that only agile and deftness can keep you alive, not heavy armour, but a little protection sometimes helps.

Abilities[edit]

Musketeers use light spammable attacks to create weak points on the target, other Musketeers in the party can see the creation of a weak point can their Flourish skills remove this weak point rom the enemy, One musketeer a party is best as their skills can both sync with each other and disrupt each other.

Special skill types[edit]

  • Suprises — skills that do not take up a place on the weapon skill bar but on the Utility bar, they can be used to create a weakpoint quickly but have a long recharge.
  • Flourishes — These are skills based on their weapons and when used either heal themselves or damage to foe.
  • Chain skills — A set of skills and spells that use the other four places n the weapons bar, the use of the first skill unlocks the second for use, the second for third etc, one a skill is unlocked it can be used whenever in combat, resets after 10 seconds of no combat.

Traits[edit]

Musketeers have three trait lines: Fluency, Parrying and Luminescence. They also have lines for each of the weapons they can wield.

Musketeers learn traits by placing feathers they find in their hat. See list of muskateer traits.

Armor[edit]

The musketeer is an adventurer profession and only wear Medium Armour.

Weapons[edit]

  • Two-handed
    • Staff — long range area-of-effect spells.
    • Greatsword — Thrusts and Close range spells.
    • Rifle — Empowered shots and Weak point generating blasts make this weapon a good choice for ranged Muskateers.
  • Main-hand
    • Scepter — Gives the muskateer more spells than normal.
    • Rapier — use light, spammale attacks to build up weak points.
    • Dagger — Deals quick sharp attacks.
  • Off-hand
    • Focus — Buffs the musketeer's primary weapon with the power of an animal.
    • Shield — Protects the musketeer or Distracts foes.
    • Rapier — Used to Parry and Thrust attacks.
    Aquatic
    • Spear — Close-Range Melee thrusts, and some spells.
    • Trident — Cast Long-Range spells and Underwater protection.

There are 14 possible weapon sets for musketeers and two weapon sets while underwater. The musketeer can equip and alternate between two weapon sets during combat,this does not effect the suprise skill.

Personal story[edit]

During character creation, musketeer characters choose what type of feather they want in their hat.
