Star Burst and Healing Burst used to be mirror images, but now Healing Burst has a new functionality with the secondary effect tied to a primary attribute to control the mass heals. Additionally, Double Dragon got an update awhile back that, in addition to causing the same amount of damage, having the same activation and the same recharge as Star Burst, gives a stat boost, costs less because of Star Burst's 5 energy clause, and doesn't require a target to cause damage. Star Burst has a really cool animation and it's sadly wasted because it's blatantly inferior to other Fire Magic skills and no one uses it anymore.

  • Change A: I took the new Healing Burst and mashed it with Shockwave, then tossed it in Fire Magic and tied the scaling damage and burning to rank in energy storage to keep it restricted to primary Elementalist's bars, since adding scaling primary attribute requirements to the functionality of OP secondary attribute skills seems to be all [the] rage.

  • Change B: I made this the Fire Magic's version of Lightning Surge - if the hex is removed, no (or very little) harm done. If it sticks, however, fire magic's trademark game mechanics (burning and AoE dmg) kick you in the face.
