A few extra rewards for RBR players.
RBR winners should get an extra token and Gamer point for each racer that does not manage to finish the race. Beetles that are no longer a part of the race at the end of the game wouldn't count.
The highscore list is pretty useless outside the Canthan New Year. Add an option so that at or near the end of the event, players on the quarterly or weekly highscores could talk to Little Jack and unlock a skin that allows your beetle to look like Zippy with customized lightning bolts depending on the color of your beetle. The skin could then be purchased or swapped at Hokusai.
