Feedback talk:Game updates/20120719
Heh. The post for this was on Guru just two days ago. Didn't take them long to fix it once it was revealed. 82.11.226.30 20:19, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- Indeed, and funnily enough people there shouted about it being no problem showing it, since ArenaNet doesn't do a thing about it anyway. Apparently they do, and I also assume the people in the pictures are now banned --Lordkrall 20:32, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- I kind of like this foggy mindless thought people have about things not being fixed that people have. That way they'll have no qualms about showing off what they find, which makes it easier for ANet to fix them. Of course there's still things to fix, but then it comes to how many much resources will it take to fix it compared to how much does it harm the game, not about them being willing or not to fix them. - So, anyone care to explain what the exploit was? I'm kinda curious. --78.92.5.11 09:02, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- The thread was deleted (You can still view the cached version on Google). it involved using summons at certain angles and positions that caused them to wander far enough away from the portal to Recall to.--Relyk 10:50, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- I see, thanks. --78.92.5.11 00:21, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

Connection lost?[edit]
I'm getting an increased amount of error=007 when in the more populated areas. Is GW1's server borked? Can't even run to accept my quest rewards in Spamadam. Little more info; Never happened to me before, and it isn't my internet - runs fine in other towns. --175.38.130.68 11:43, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'm also getting this 86.181.218.250 15:10, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Did they get banned?[edit]
Now this is the question i m really interested in. Any way to find out? In their post on guru they confessed that they have abused this glitch for months, well knowing it is a glitch - which is a breach to the eula. They are from a guild well known for using bots at snowball tournament, autoclickers and other forbidden stuff. I even have a video of one of those guys showing how a specific pretty wide spread bot works where they hide their IGN under a bar, but at the last few frames it is visible. I do know, that the A/N on the screenshots is just a secondary account, as i have been playing for long time in the past with the guy owning the main account, so banning only that one might not have too much effect on the glitchers. I hope anet takes that in mind and kicks their main accounts - not just their alts. NewAtWiki
- ANet don't generally release details of who's been banned for what. Occasionally you may get a reply from support if you've emailed a bot report saying that "accounts have been blocked", but that's about it. By the way, to sign your comments, you need to use four tildes, like this: ~~~~ - this will post your user name and the time of posting. Stick around! --snograt 06:35, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
