The problem with this though, is that people completely new to guildwars or MMO's in general, need to play from the beginning or they wont really know whats going on. Being thrown into the deep end probably wouldnt work so well with this. Unless you have the option to play low level and high level (as you say, like the gamescom demo). --Jimmer123 16:18, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Exactly. That option will be there. Like I said, one of the challenges is to decide where these high-level characters start off. It should be somewhere that is "newb-friendly" enough, yet still showcase a lot of the nice features that players don't generally see at the beginning. --Arngrim 20:08, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough, i reckon i could get behind that idea. Like maybe lvls 10-20 or something, rather than 1-10 and 45-50 --Jimmer123 21:20, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
The key advantage of having the option to start fresh (level 1) is that the player can continue to play that character after the trial is over, if he decides to buy the game. Also, there are no complications as to where this new character should start. --Arngrim 08:18, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
There wouldn't be complications to where the high leveled character started either. They would just find the area that that level of character would be in, much like they did in the demo with the Charr. Personally, I think this is a great way to make the trial far more enjoyable. Perchance, the trial could allow for only low level, then go to only high level. Both parts could cover a designated amount of time to give the player their chance to experience not just the beginning, but also the deeper middle section of the game.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 01:27, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
That's an interesting idea. I think I'll add that. --Arngrim 07:48, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Added your idea to my list of suggestions I support. Luck to ya.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 17:40, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
