Kali's thoughts[edit]
- Brutal Weapon - Great Dwarf weap is way better in group, else okay for Barrage.
- Earthbind (PvP) - 3sec kd is well as it is
- Ghostly Weapon - sounds week to me
- Guided Weapon - useful change imho
- Mighty Was Vorizun - energy gain OP, else actual skill is way better
- Offering of Spirit - you need energy management even in PvE, also its only useful for 2+ rit teams
- Restoration - dunno... unused skill actually
- Soothing - OP as hell
- Wanderlust - OP as hell
- Weapon of Quickening - OP as hell in PvP

- Brutal Weapon: Cannot be self-targetted and since the 7 hero update you hardly find teams with more than one player and you cannot put it on a hero either giving it much less use than you would believe, especially to the martial classes.
- Earthbind's Stonefist criteria also apply for PvP you should know that. Even in PvP what use is a spirit who has an effects that barely triggers.
- Ghostly Weapon..well i actually held back with this one knowing the drawbacks that Desperation Blow and Drunken Blow have. Giving the ability to inflicts conditions at a very cheap cost, fast casting time and low recharge without you having to sacrifice a skill slot for it is something i see as quite powerful. Well i could increase it's recharge and give it a scaling effect that increases the ammount of affected attacks but i'm still doubting about it, allowing you to inflicts multiple conditions very fast at a low cost and being non-elite at that.
- Mighty Was Vorizun, if you complain about OP energy gain try out Spirit Siphon. With the average cost Cummuning spirits have and even a higher cost in PvP i don't really see the OP in it. The average ammount if spirits taken is around 4 to 5 and at rank 15 would return around 28-35 energy every 30 seconds, Spirit Siphon at rank 15 returns 30 energy every 3 seconds as long there is a spirit in range. But you really don't like spirits do you, calling the current version better.
- Offering of Spirit; slap yourself in the face making such a stupid comment about it. I already mention Spirit Siphon that is superior to Offering of Spirit as energy managment, as elite Spirit Channeling completely blows this away.
- Soothing: have you ever seen how fast Displacement dies? Well with Soul Twisting i gues i could change it's PvP version back to it's original function. But i figured it would be a decent counter against the what-you-may-call-OP-as-hell dervish and knocklock warriors in PvP, gues i was wrong.
- Wanderlust you may call it OP-as-hell if you like, that is one skill i am not going to change.
- Weapon of Quickening: And it's current version isn't?
Anyways i'll see what changes i can make, and maybe change Weapon of Quickening into a skill with a scaling ammount of spells and binding rituals affected by it. Da Mystic Reaper 15:52, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Earthbind's Stonefist criteria - thats true... but it adds addition damage to kd... that means W/A KD chains and Ox Spamming is much more agressive and powerful as it is right now, and actually you can only counter it with guardian... thats all coz they mostly got a stance remover
- Ghostly Weapon - i would suggest something like the opposite of "sum of all fears" a buff on move/attack/cast 10% faster but this could be kinda powerful too, dunno should be tested if 10% is that much...
- Mighty Was Vorizun - its OP for GvG runners... it means you cast life + recuperation at higher level and also means you don't need spirit channeling as elite anymore. this means -> always shackles for snaring splits and this means an universal build for every runner
- Offering of Spirit - yeah thats true but if you got rupted on your limitied spirits in PvP you're oom. And in this case it's a problem to use Siphon...
- Soothing - In PvP, the lifeloss works well on "NO ADRENALINE" but in this case 50% without lifeloss is quite more powerful, especially vs Bway in HA. Else no adrenalin gain makes it too powerful
- Wanderlust - In combination with Earthbind this could mean a group KD of 3 sec in RA. And this is definitely OP... 'coz its a fullwipe.
- Weapon of Quickening - you've changed it ;) but 45 sec was way too long for 5 energy and 5 recharge -> abuse on ele (rainbow)-spikes, also an enormous buff for Snares and as counter vs diverted skills for 5 energy... should be at least 10 in pvp for 30 sec duration... also think for the new ele update comming soon.

I know it's more than a month late but i decided to give it a wait and a fresh second look, well here goes.
- Earthbind: i gave it a damage effect to let it see use with knock down builds, an increase in kd duration alone just won't work. That goes for both PvE and PvP. Those builds will deal more damage and make a monk's job harder but don't you think players also should take some protection for themselves instead of relying on a squishy monk backline? I know monks like to make the difference but HA and GvGers should learn not to rely on monks to stay alive like all other PvPers do.
- Ghostly Weapon: I know what you are aiming at but Weapon of Aggression would be a beter choise don't you think.
- Mighty Was Vorizun: Let's see if Shackles survives the next Ele update, these has been alot of nagging about it remaining unchanged because it's a crap elite (only usable in GvG makes it crap since elites should be usable in both PvE and all formats of PvP). An elite Deep Freeze/Ice Spikes is a popular request for it, let's wait it out a bit.
- Offering of Spirits: I also mentioned Spirit Channeling for a very good reason.
- Soothing: I tagged it with PvE only but still thinking it over.
- Wanderlust: has been changed to hit only one foe in PvP, still causes a unconditional kd and yes it has synergy with Earthbind like it always did.
- Weapon of Quickening: Indeed i changed it and should be fine now since it doesn't differ all that much from it's current version.

Falconeye's thoughts[edit]
You may wish to reevaluate Restoration as it currently violates Anet's inherent skill-design restrictions; among them specifically, "...rituals/spirits can never (nor should they ever) be allowed to directly influence other spirits"... unless you know something I don't? ^_^ --Falconeye 02:33, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
