Feedback talk:User/DragonessOfWar/Changing GUILD TAGS!

The first real issue is the "Guild Tags" themselves are limited to 4 characters. While this mean somewhere in the neighborhood of 128 to the power of 4 or 1.2 million, most users want the tag to say something; [Meow] [RAWR] [seXy] is rather common examples. For mine, I just abbreviated [TIF]. If they make the Guild Tag a unique field in the database then it will become difficult to find a decent tag unless the field is increased. The next issue is something that already plagues people making up character names. Once a guild has the tag, it is theirs forever, even if the guild owner no longer plays on the account. Personally I have not run into an issue with the current naming system. I don't see that renaming characters or guilds owned by you should be a "payable" option. Maybe time restricted but this is not something I would be apt do anyway. Finally if a guild is being harassed by any player or group, there is no excuse, report them. With all I just said, you might be thinking that I am dead set against your idea. I am actually in favor of this as a positive change and I believe that anyone should be allowed to change characters or guild names (if available) with a repeating 30 or 60 day limited period without a special payment. --Wendy Black 06:30, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
