My idea for tonics is there would be like a tonic trader who traveled from town to town. I only thought of this because Anet said you would be ale to help caravans being attacked. Your idea for tonics is also a good idea but if you wanted more than one of those tonics is your idea that you can use that aspect more than once or just one time then you have to go get another one? - Giant Nuker 15:05, 20 December 2009 (UTC) Good question. I'm thinking along the lines of where you only need to get an aspect once unless you want to change what type of tonic you want to make. Kalizar

I vote for no tonics at all. Right now every outpost you go in looks like a bloody circus. Tonics came in only to spice up the boring old gw. Once gw2 comes out, and if it's as cool as it's supposed to be, then tonics are out of the question. User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 16:02, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

I slightly agree with what you are saying Kalizar. However on the concept the amount of programming which would be needed would most likely be very technical and possibly tricky. It may also limit us to a select few for example the wolf, bear, raven which the norn currently have. I've discussed a similar idea with my guild and we feel that they should do similar to Nicholas The Traveler with the mysterious tonics, but when you use the tonic you gain a set skill bar which is programmed to that specific monster, for example a the skills of a Prismatic Ooze, or a Bone Dragon (if set in guildwars that is). I love your idea as I enjoy on Dragons Age Origins[1] the ability to make potions and all that stuff, and it would certainly put a bit more spice but the thought of having to find the ingredients like in Dragons Age Origins does make it feel tedious. Nevertheless a really good idea which I would like to see in Guildwars2. --Jezzer1189 00:59, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

@ Jezzer, you know how you get like a "Scorched Lodestone" all the time for killing the Hulking Stone Elemental guys? Well, imagine if you could make a hulking stone elemental tonic for every single Scorched Lodestone you got. I'm not talking 'bout a constant grind for ingredients, rather something you'll be able to do as you go through the game.
