i don't even know what you're suggestion is, if you just could add some text to explain your suggestion, then everybody could understand ;) (and i don't know if necromancer is gonna be a profession in gw2)--Frozen Ice Prince 13:24, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Necromancer profession has been confirmed. It's actually one of the playable professions in the demo. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 13:47, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Necromancer were confirmed by Anet already. The Idea, is to suggest different Forms and Pets types for the Necromancer class in GW2. Necromancer has a unique system that allow it to change into a monster and rampage using the collected souls as its fuel. The first part of the suggestion deals with suggestion model and monster types ideas for this form. the second part is for dealing with suggestions for Pet Minions for GW2's Necromancer. We currently seen I believe 2-3 types already. More monster types would be nice. At Neil, I knew it would be just a matter of time before the rabid GW1 Fanboys would bicker and come to their sense and realize that Anet is making GW2 to appeal to MMORPG players, over simply GW1 fans. And I knew GW1 Fans would do this QQ over the changes. But they would simply have to get over it. The MMORPG players are moving in. Get over your fanboish nonsense now. GW2 will have things like Crafting and GATHERING, for example. So if you dont like that, well get over it.--Knighthonor 01:45, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
You're not a fan of originality, are you? You seem to think that GW2 is and must become like every other WoW-clone out there. I think the exact opposite is going to happen, GW2 is going to redefine MMOs as a genre. And it seems you are the one that's butthurt over no one liking your WoW-clone ideas, not GW1 players. Also, of course Arenanet is going to shoot for having as many people play they're game, but the idea that they'd disregard the currant fan base, the first people that bought they're products and allowed them to be successful in the first place? Get real.--Will Greyhawk 22:46, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Well you keep thinking that, while the world moves on. Because we already seen things in GW2 that most GW1 fans didnt like. I can name a few.
  • Stealth Mechanics.
  • CC aka Crowd Control
  • Fear Mechanics(well this goes with CC as well)
  • Crafting and Gathering Mechanics.
  • Stats
  • Gear Importances
  • Potions
  • Large Numbers (LOL cant forget this LOL)
The list goes on. So you simply going to have to get over it. PS: you said something about WoW clone. Can you tell me, whats a WoW clone mean? Can you give me a example of a WoW clone?--Knighthonor 03:23, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

i don't know a good example of a wow clone (don't play those games) but almost every mmorpg was maked to be a better version of wow. and i think gw is much better in graphics and story then wow.

If there's one thing i could possible hate at gw2 is the thought that it is a wow clone, and because anet wouldn't do something like that, i won't hate it.--Frozen Ice Prince 06:53, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

It's a fucking MMORPG, WoW is not a genre, it's one game in a genre, and games in a genre don't really, you know, diverge more than the MMORPG's out there do. Forza is not a NfS clone, CoD is not a MoH clone, Borderlands is not a Mass Effect clone, though all these games have a lot in common. So stop fuckin complaining that it's a WoW clone, because it's not, it's an MMORPG which means combat, large open terrain, and lots of players. All of these need to be complex and interesting, and online RPG's are quite limited in terms of what they can and can't add, due to balancing and framerate issues. On the subject of the actual suggestion, I wouldn't mind taking a margonite-like form, but it just doesn't make any sense for Necromancers to actually turn into Kanaxai or a margonite. Especially with Abaddon being completely removed from GW(As far as we know) 250 years prior to GW2. If you ask me, we should just have a few different death shroud forms to take on, like maybe 4 or 5, with different focuses and slightly different skill sets.--Gerroh 02:35, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
