Give it 75% block chance instead of everything misses and you actually balanced Shadow Form! Well, sort of. Dark Morphon 15:48, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- That's a possibility, that would certainly make it an elite version of Critical Defenses, the skill I based this suggestion on in the first place. Besides, you can still use both skills together and get a 94% chance of blocking. --Lexxor 07:05, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, well, giving it a 75% block chance (or 94% when the two are combined) does two very important things, it makes sure you can't aggro an infinite amount of enemies and it makes sure you can be hit which makes it impossible to farm the Underworld (a single blow of an aatxe is obviously going to cost you dearly, you will likely not be going to heal against those numbers). Those two combined pretty much kill the whole invincibility issue while it still covers up for the Assassin's vulnerability in PvE. Problem with your suggestion is that Assassins can still continue to use it exactly the same way as before. Dark Morphon 15:38, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- They won't be able to run dungeons and places like they do now. With this suggestion they now also need to invest points in Critical Strikes to be able to keep up the Shadow Form. They can still combine it with Deadly Paradox though although they partly gimp themselves doing it because the new Shadow Form depends on critical hits, and Deadly Paradox will limit them to auto attacks only. --Lexxor 22:26, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- And don't forget A/E, the most common form of Perma Sin. With Critical Strikes, they would need to spread their attributes into three lines now, so you probably wouldn't be able to keep /E at 12 anymore. Perhaps 10. --Lexxor 22:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, I think running Keen Chop should do the trick. Of course, that means you are limited with your secondairy profession choice AND you're going to have to attack (which can be a problem in some situations), but it should be enough to keep shit up easily.
