No. Illusion Magic is geared towards anti-melee and slowdown effects. Interrupts are Domination. Mixing the two isn't a good idea. Bathory talk 07:09, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
And the reason spells like Arcane Conundrum and Frustration are in this line is because it is geared against anti-melee, sure. and even if this skill would be changed the way i suggested it could be moved to Fast Casting Lou Wolfskin 14:22, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- Migraine, Arcane Conundrum, Frustration and this skill are Slowdown effects. I'd be fine with it in Fast Casting, I guess. Although I don't really see what's wrong with this skill as it is, as it's clearly more powerful than Conundrum (since it slows Signets, Chants and untyped Skills) even if it lasts 5 seconds less. =\ Bathory talk 07:57, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- My personal problem with this skill at the moment is that most untyped skills and signets take long enough to be interruptet anyway. At the moment Confusing images is redundant and i'm saying that as a huge fan of the mesmer-class. Lou Wolfskin 12:21, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- Don't get me wrong there, i see your point and yes it can be quite irritating for an enemy, lets say a ranger, to cast Troll Urgent with 6 instead of 3 seconds, still Confusing Images is nothing the Mesmer really 'needs' like Aracane Conundrum. It's been quite a while at least since i thought 'God...that warrior is casting Healing Signet so fast...how could i ever interrupt that'. Don't know if you get my point there...
