- The first suggestion is very vague. 75% block on what? Your whole party? A certain range? An ally? A party member? Or the enemy team?
- The second suggestion is very weak. 5 seconds and 21 health per block with a 10 energy cost. Ummkay, assuming you use Guardian, the most powerful and used block preprot, to trigger the conditionals for the skill, you block perhaps 4 attacks during 5 seconds. ~80 health for 10 energy is not fantastic. - They are only making one suggestion. The first "vague" one is the actual skill. But I agree, very weak... 10 and does nothing by itself and almost nothing if you cast Guardian before it. Dismiss Condition would be better than this for healing (and removes a condition). -~=Sparky (talk) 02:31, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Changed cost and duration. Lou Wolfskin 02:39, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- It's still not useful or significant enough to see play. I could use Patient or dismiss to achieve similar healing, while having added effects(fast cast, condition removal). Monk bars are tight enough without having to consider other weak skills. This suggestion is moot since it's not going to make shield guardian any more used or viable. In other words, it's a waste of time and resources for Anet to implement. Pika Fan 02:43, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, what would you like to see here? Lou Wolfskin 08:19, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
Added a minor blockchance. Lou Wolfskin 08:26, 6 January 2010 (UTC)
- How about
5 1 10 For 8 seconds, target ally has a 50% chance to block. Whenever that ally blocks an attack, that ally is healed for 5...21...25 health. Ends after 1...3...3 successful blocks. Tounaku 06:28, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- K, changed it to your suggestion hope it's more acceptable now. Lou Wolfskin 11:15, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
