Feedback talk:User/MadSkillz1o1/In-Game microphone support for groups

I would definitely like integrated voice chat. (This has been suggested before, but it might have been deleted.) A mute button for individual players is a must. There can be a checkbox in Options: Automatically connect to voice chat by default. There can also be a toggle that allows the player to quickly connect/disconnect when in party. When a player is connected, he can see when someone else talks and can see if someone has voice chat disabled with a little icon like you suggested. I definitely think it will promote social interaction as long as not too many people abuse the feature. --Arngrim 19:52, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- I would like this as well, but I don't really need it. There are many other options. ThrainFile:User Thrain Sig.pngcontribs 19:54, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- I prefer they dont spend development time on it, there are plenty of third party programs that all do the task well, and most of them have ingame overlays you can use to see who's talking in your channel while you are playing the game full screen. --Draygo Korvan 19:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Draygo, I know there are other programs, but what if you want to play with someone new? What if you want to do a mission, and you invite people, you're gonna ask them to download ventrilo or teamspeak, and then give them the server info and password and wait for them to do it ? Would it not be much simpler to have in-game support ? MadSkillz1o1 16:26, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
