Feedback talk:User/Mira Castillo/Loosen Restrictive Stats on Charrslayer weapons

It's the same as the other of <creature type> slaying weapons. The Damage +10-20% (vs. Creature type) that is. The Armor +10 must be the weapon it's self. Sounds like ya need upgrades like inscription, and a prefix. Either that or merch it as you can get the mods themselves from farming, etc. to put on a weapon to make a good weapon. ♥ Ariyen ♀ 21:07, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I wasn't clear. This is not about random drops with x of charrslaying. This is about the Charrslaying weapons set crafted by Jonathan Blunt in eotn. These are crafted gold weapon skins, similar to Destroyer Weapons. The difference being the charrslaying mods cannot be removed. --mira castillo 22:03, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
I think those are set like that for a reason, not sure, but I had wished I could salvage stuff off my pvp character's weapons. Ya can't do that either. :-S ♥ Ariyen ♀ 00:59, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, PvP weapons you create are at the cost of nothing, so that makes sense. These weapons you need to gather materials and gold to craft them. The point is not the inability to salvage the mod to get the mod for other uses, but the inability to mod the weapon as you like. The Charrslayer Focus, for example, has a +10 against Charr. This cannot be replaced. In terms of modding, you are only limited to a focus core. You can never make 20/20 Charrslayer Focus because of this. All other Eotn crafted gold weapon skins (Deldrimoor, Norn, Asuran, Destroyer) do not have this kind of restriction. --mira castillo 14:40, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
I agree with mira in that this crafted weapon is the only one of its kind to have an innate, irremovable mod. It's a shame, too, because the Charrslayer skins are actually pretty nice. For example I really wanted this skin for my new bow, but I'm not giving up a mod slot for it. You pay gold and materials to craft it, you should be able to do whatever you want with it, like any other /non-unique/ weapon. Xiaquin 20:22, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
