Jonathan Blunt is a weaponsmith, a type of NPC that crafts weapons in exchange for crafting materials and gold and/or customizes weapons. It costs 10 gold to get a weapon customized.

All weapons come equipped with an inherent Charr-related inscription or upgrade component.

• Martial weapons, wands, and staves come with a Dmg +20% (vs. Charr) upgrade.
• Shields and focus items come with an Armor +10 (vs. Charr) upgrade.

The Charrslayer shields and focus items are unusual in that the Armor +10 (vs. Charr) inscription doesn't exist; however, inherent armor bonuses against Charr have been noted in Prophecies quest rewards and as infrequent drops.
