Unlike the Asuran, Dwarven, and Norn weapons, these weapons come with a +20% against Charr mod that cannot be overwritten. This makes these weapons somewhat inferior outside of fighting Charr (unliek their Asuran, Dwarven and Norn counterparts). Consider making the +20 against Charr overwrittable? Agreed, i'd love to use some of these weapons as they look amazing but the +20% vs charr is just utter crap. Those who gain vanguard points don't seem to have it as good as other factions in terms of lack of mini-game and being a bit harder to farm points due to small explorable areas. Anyways, just whack the price upto 5k like the others and allow us to choose what mod we want please. - 79.74.24.87 19:26, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. Either that or give us a PVE skill like..."For 20 seconds, target Foe is a Charr" xD LunarEffect 11:33, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

My god, thouse weapons look worse then jotun face in a dark corner. Biz 11:37, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

His image is outdated. In the screenshot, he looks like a generic Ebon Vanguard member with a hammer, but currently he looks like Elias and the other weaponsmiths in Ascalon, and wields a sword and shield. -- Gordon Ecker 10:55, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Isn't the Charr mod a freebie on weapons? For example, isn't a bow still upgradeable with a string, grip, and inscription PLUS the 20% damage vs. Charr? ---Shadowcat Arkwright 72.222.240.210 06:41, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

No. It's a bowstring. Vili User talk:Vili 07:13, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
You can indeed still salvage +20% vs Charr bowgrips and sword hilts from collector weapons in Piken Square. Those of us who were little more sneaky then others still have +25% dmg vs charr hilts =) Biz 09:55, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
You can also upgrade the charrslayer weapons with said upgrade components. A bow with +20% charrslaying and +20% charrslaying sounds like fun if VQ'ing Ascalon. Paddymew 12:48, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
No you can't. I just tried. It does not work. At least, for the bow it doesn't. I couldn't add a Charrslaying suffix to it. I haven't tried for other mods, will do in a sec. 94.212.57.91 15:20, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
