The Charrslayer Shields are used by the Charr, Charr Bladestorms and Bonwor Fierceblade in particular. They can also be crafted at the Eye of the North with an inherent +10 armor rating versus Charr.

Acquisition

The Charrslayer Shield can be crafted from Jonathan Blunt in Eye of the North (outpost) for every attribute for 2, 500, 40 , 5 , 1 , and 1 .

Armor: 16 (Requires 9 <linked attribute>)

Armor +10 (vs. Charr)

Dye

Dye affects the stretched fabric in the centre of the shield. The charr-hide print area is unaffected. The default color can be closely replicated using brown dye.

Notes

• This can only be crafted if your character is rank 4 in the Ebon Vanguard title track.
• This shield comes with an inherent +10 armor versus Charr bonus instead of an inscription slot.
• The +10 armor bonus against Charr does not work if you are given 25 or more armor (e.g. through "Stand Your Ground!"). See Effect stacking and Armor calculation for more details.

Trivia

• This shield had a bugged appearance in game before the 13th of October 2011 update, where only the back panel of the shield was displayed. This was reportedly due to an error in the application of the alpha channels on the shield.
