Mel's Avatar is quite powerful, but not used because 90% of all dervishes use Wounding Strike because of the perma-DW. (The other 10% use Ebon Dust Aura). When WS gets nerfed, dervishes will go back to being immune to blind and cripple. Koda Kumi 16:54, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh I agree totally its powerful, but the outrageous energy cost and short duration make maintaining it in PvE pointless as you use half of your skill bar just to maintain the form and keep enough energy up to be able to do anything. I think the energy cost can be justified if they simply match its duration with the other avatars. Then you wouldn't be casting Mel's-recovering energy-getting in 2 attacks-then having to recast. The armor + elem dmg was just a suggestion I added, but totally unnecessary. So imo either the energy cost needs to be dropped or duration needs to be matched to the other avatars. Neither of which will OP this skill by any means, but rather make it more enjoyable to play and be able to use a truly creative skill with more flexibility.
