I agree that the EotN is getting very tiresome, but a lot of people have already asked for what you've wanted, and Anet has already told us that (for some obscure reason) it isn't feasible :(. Read the bottom note here. G R E E N E R 06:08, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

The module for giving out announcements may be built into each respective screen in a different way, causing these notes to require more resources when released. They would be a poor allocation of assets on a server load already so obviously feeling the strain of GW's design flaw, limiting its modularity. It's just a theory, but it makes sense to me - and general computer knowledge only gets me so far on this kind of question. Anyone with game code expertise? 141.165.171.4 06:19, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
Right yeah, I should have looked though some older suggestions before asking this, but thanks for the info. – NuclearDuckie 08:49, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

I say do it. Most log in screens like GW use modular feeds for annoucenments, much like an RSS feed. All it would take is just a redesignation of the background meshes, textures and music. --Sage Talk 01:05, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Since it already has a playlist of tracks after the Eye of the North theme going onto Pre-Searing Ascalon and Kryta themes, it shouldn't be too hard to have a feature to change this to any of the other campaigns' theme music. Changing the landscape however, would be a different story. – NuclearDuckie 06:17, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Resolved[edit]

If you feel the responses you have gotten make this suggestion unfeasible, you can remove it from the main suggestion lists by adding | resolved = yes to the infobox if you would like to maintain a record that you submitted it, or you can tag it with {{delete|U1|speedy}} to have it deleted completely. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 10:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
