I look forward to this happening, but I would have thought that merely adding a few more places to the 'Select Port' menu would be a much easier solution. So instead of just seeing Kaineng, LA, and Spamadan, you'd also have HzH, Cavalon, Rata Sum, Gunnar's Hold, Doomlore, Kodash Bazaar, and the entry point to Abaddon's Realm as listed locations you can travel to. Would instantly solve all the listed problems and wouldn't require much coding effort to enable, probably being easier to code, than programming from scratch, a user entered 'favourite locations' menu. - yes yes and more yes, i agree hole heartily with both of your guys suggestions. even if they just added arrows (on the edge of the map) or make a world map or do what anon-e-mouse says, they could even do what anon says but do it like the quest log were each quest is in an area. do the same thing for towns but have a few headings so you would have core ph factions nightfall eotn and then you could expand any one of thous headings and then there would be the major areas and then the towns in thous areas...-- Zesbeer 22:30, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Anon, I agree that it would probably be a lot easier to code, but it's not necessarily the "better" solution. But it may be just me. I tend to go for the prettier then easier. PheNaxKian already posted a different take on it (as you know). I'll be happy with any improvement that will not force us to break the party when traveling from the Guild Hall, but I do feel that just listing everything will clutter the list, and I'm guessing that collapsible menus will require UI work and coding anyway... — Poki#3 (talk) 00:40, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
