Great Dynasty

The Great Dynasty was Elona's second dynasty. It was founded in 656 DR (456 AE) by Admun Kolos when he took the throne at the end of the Scarab Plague, ending the interregnum which had started when the plague wiped out the Primeval Dynasty. Istan began to be resettled 64 years into the Great Dynasty era. It collapsed in 783 DR (583 AE), the same year as the start of the Pretender Wars, which marked the start of the Shattered Dynasty Era. It is not known whether Pretender Wars started before or after the collapse of the Great Dynasty.
