The international Moa Society is a guild that was originally operated and run by Lady Stormshere (23m xp Elementalist extraordinaire) who founded the collective based on the desire of a group of friends who had been together in guilds for up to two years who desired a place to play together in an environment not dragged down by the inactivity of former players and seek the improvement of their characters (and a bit of title whoring) without the distractions of being involved in a large member guild or alliance.
Lady Stormshere has handed over his leadership to Naveelis Lorren.
We remain to this date a moderate sized guild of approximately 50 members from all over the globe inlcuding many shift workers who have opportunities to play with a variety of members with no set specific time. the guild is based on the philosophy of individual member freedoms with a bare minimum of rules, these being: the only language in guild chat is english and any members inactive for a period of two weeks without notifying the Guild Leader will be kicked. Other than that we're adults and we expect those around us to have fun and play this great game with a sense of humour but still treat others with respect.
So while our player base includes many solid players of thousands of hours of play, every member other than the leader is considered equal (even new members who are free to seek help and assistance, but we will not play the game for you) and a part of the Moa collective and is given officer status to prove it!
So, Moa would be the place for you if: you enjoy guild wars, like having a chat over teamspeak (we will invariably end up talking football at some stage with the sad Geordie Dave or ReAL the mad Aussie Gooner!) and want a place to do your own thing but have people to do it with in a calm and relaxed environment.....if you're a bit of a title whore we can even provide Lady, Stimm & ReAL who'll keep you motivated toward those aims with healthy competition!
