On December 25th of 2003 the Freelancer [1] clan Sirius Liberation Fighters was formed by ZeroHour and g3n on the Andromeda server. SLF grew out to be one of the most competitive and lasting clans Freelancer has ever known. As membercount fluctuated and server support went downhill we were forced to migrate servers several times, bringing us to CHSP, Jolt and currently Hamburg City [2]. As the global server went down and great servers died, the need for new gaming space became evident as early as 2005.
The first steps were taken some time later when unofficial companies of SLF were formed in a diversity of games including Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Unreal Tournament 3, Ogame and Guild Wars. The unofficial Guild Wars corps was formed on March 1st of 2007 by the then Lieutenant qqq and Junior Squad. In April 2007 several members joined the guild but activity quickly dropped and official status was never reached.
On June 11th of 2008 Council Member / Vice Admiral Squig suggested the search for alternative games to be continued, starting with the exploration of options presented by Guild Wars. On July 10th of 2008 the Council allowed the start of an official trial period for the game, rather than the unofficial scouting status it had earned a year earlier. On July 14th of 2008, the expansion plans were christened the 'Transcending Phoenix' project.
Currently the SLF Guild Wars Corps still retains it's trial status till a foothold has been established in the game. Since we were already in possession of a guild hall and cape, no additional credit gathering was required. The Council suggested a slow formation of the guild and any official guild-related activities have been suspended till further notice.

Recruitment
NOTICE: Due to a suspension of official guild-related activities no recruitment is taking place so far. This will change when the suspension is lifted by the Council.
Recruitment takes place upon invitation by guild Officers. New guild members are to report to the Council by posting a recruitment post in our forum. Cadets will start a 7 day trial week from the day they enter the guild. The application post is to be written within these 7 days as soon as possible as any delays reduce the chance of being accepted. We want our members to be active and to socialize with the rest of the clan, not limited to the Guild Wars Corps. Since we're currently in our early stages more information regarding the recruitment procedure will follow soon. It is expected recruitment will start by August 1st of 2008 to ensure a working structure beforehand.
