Created in the dawn of Guild Wars, The Knights of Calvary is a guild that upholds something more than mere loot or fancy items but a strong sense of morality which stem from our Christian beliefs in Jesus Christ as our lord and personal Savior. We do not require you to be a christian to join this guild but you must follow the guidelines we set forth in our charter. We actively participate in group hunts and quests as to advance our members, some of them being as young as 8 years old. We are also looking to get more and more involved in player vs. player combat, mainly guild vs. guild. We have been around a long time but only until recently have become interested in it. Some of the guidelines which we set forth stem in character creation itself in that we do not allow for the use of necromancy in the guild or Mesmer (as a means of a main profession, atleast. A Mesmer secondary profession is permitted although no necromancy should be found on your character at all, first or second profession). This is due to their use of pentagrams and sacrilegious symbols in direct contradiction to the Christian church. All in all we are a guild that enjoys having fun together and really are a family orientated guild that endorses respect and good morals to all its members. We believes that in creating a guild that chooses to condone good behavior and responsibility for ones actions adds a level of accountability that no other guild requires and more "substance" which allows us to have that greater bond. We are generous in all our items that the guild obtains and our love for Jesus Christ is something that we hope to be portrayed in all of our actions through all of our members as in each of us is the representation of Christ.
Recruitment
If you are interested in joining the Knights of Calvary the process is simple, we do utilize the "recruit" feature and require all new, interested members to tag along with one of our senior members on hunts and/or just be around the members of the guild as to be sure that you do truly act as a christian whether you are or not.
