BWE #4 Wrap-up

Thanks to everyone who participated in this month's Beta Weekend Event. We have received a great deal of excellent feedback and a number of productive suggestions and bug reports via our fansite forums. We will review this input as we prepare for the next milestone. We hope to see you during the new Beta Weekend Event, which begins March 18th at approximately Midnight PST.

Beta Weekend Event #4 Begins!

Our fourth monthly Beta Weekend Event has begun. You can visit the newest region of Tyria and experience the glory that is the Kingdom of Ascalon. You'll also have an opportunity to engage in PvP and PvE play while viewing the many changes that have taken place in the game since last month's event. The event will conclude on Sunday night just before the stroke of Midnight.

Guild Wars Launch Date Announced!

We've set the North American and European launch date for Guild Wars: April 28, 2005. And to provide details of the launch as well as information about future Beta Weekend Events and early access for preorder customers, you will find a full press release here. In celebration of this announcement, we have a new in-game video for you, an introduction to The Kingdom of Ascalon. The movie is available in two formats and two file sizes, for ease of download. You can locate the film on this link.
