Decision about accepting the case for arbitration[edit]
The case for or against acceptance is on the discussion page, and open for input.
Accept- I agree that there is a problem with this kind of behaviour, especially so when it's repeated and goes on despite numerous attempts from the community to communicate this problem with the editor in question.Since he also seems to be unwilling to take part in any community solutions, for the time being I see no other option but arbitration.--Dirigible 17:33, 22 September 2007 (UTC)- Update: Skuld seems willing to try a community solution, so I'm of the opinion that we should give that a try before taking the case to arbitration. See the talk page. --Dirigible 01:05, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Decline -- Due to the above, I don't think that there is a need for the ArbComm to accept this case. I believe that a binding decision coming from a group defined as "the final arbiters of user conduct" is to be avoided if other options are still available. --Dirigible 02:04, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

ArbComm statement[edit]
The Arbitration Committee members believe that, even though Skuld's contributions to the wiki are mostly positive, those instances highlighted during this arbitration case can be seen as disruptive and problematic for the wiki. While the committee does not believe that administrative action at this stage is needed, we will take Skuld at his word that he is willing to try toning down these incidents, and we also suggest that he should remain open to feedback from other community members on this issue.
