Install status update

Hi guys! We've talked about this extension, and we'd prefer not to install it at this time since the functionality it provides will be in the next version upgrade (1.14). When possible, the team would like to avoid installing deprecated extensions. If anyone has serious objections to this, please let me know and I'll pass your comments on for further discussion.
