New Year's Awakening took place at Droknar's Forge at 3PM EST on 29/12/07. It was a very succesful event and we thank everyone who helped make it possible and all those who came out to celeberate with us! New Year's Awakening packed two districts and a 3rd filling up quickly. We had many special guests such as Gaile Gray who came out to celeberate the event with us also providing special lighting for the event with fireworks, hope everyone enjoyed the event and left with a new plan and a new begining because that was our purpose of New Year's Awakening to bring together and share the joy of the New Year's comming with everyone!

Some might ponder the purpose of such a cycle or perhaps seek a better meaning while others try to enjoy the excitement on where the current take them. Many simply like to behold the beauties as they ride the current between each of these rapids only to watch it become a fading memory. New Year's Awakening[edit]
Join us this year and party with your friends of the Destiny Of Awakening we welcome the new year with a BANG! There will be games, contests, prizes, shows, events, and of course FREE BOOZE!!! So join in on the fun this December 29th in international Droknar's Forge. There is no fee and everyone is invited and bring your party hats and get wasted off your feet. festivities begin at around 3PM eastern.
Our Mission[edit]
The Goal of this event is to party for the new year by spreading the good will that we all have to offer and show unity between fellow players as the sponsors are from both Luxon and Kurzick sides, all the while getting so hammered we cant stand anymore. (In which case we sit back and watch the show)

Activities[edit]
Below are the following activites that will take place at different times during the festival. Each event will last abot 30 minutes and prizes are rewarded to the winners.
Simon Says[edit]
First of, the leader of the event in that district will substitute his/her characters name in place of Simon
- For Example: Darken Says: Flex like a pretty elementalist is dancing in front of you.
The leader of the event in that district will call out a simple / command.
- For Example: /flex
We will then pick out 3-5 random people who responded to the command not the top 3-5 to keep it fair from people who can simply just type fast. This activity is pretty simple just respond to what the district leader says the correct emote to win prizes! Prizes will be awarded to everyone and we will keep in mind that everyone leaves with nice party favors and prizes.
Happy 1/2hour[edit]
Simple and yet elegant in its own unique way, in these 30 minutes we will simply pass around ale and everyone can run around drunk while being stripped of their characters armor (naked). There are conditions that will still apply to this and you can read the conduct/how-to-behave at the event below. This is also the only time Alcohol beverages are passed around asside that they can be obtained by means of prizes in the other activities.
Trivia Wars[edit]
Questions will test players knowledge of the game and it will be taken from random areas and any aspect of the game. Again The same rule applies as it did in Simon Says. We will pick 3-5 people at random who typed the answer correctly and not the top 3-5 people who typed it first, there by keeping the prizes handed out fair and keeping the same people from winning.
Title Wars[edit]
A rather simple, but highly effective contest. A specific rank in a title track was called for. The first individual ranked with the exact title receives a random prize. In the case of a tie, a Rock, Paper, Scissors showdown was held. Prizes will vary based on rank difficulty.
- For Example: Rank 3 Companion of the Kurzicks ( Friend of the Kurzicks Title Track)
The first person to nofity one of the event personel or simply give an indication that they are wearing the title. The name of the winner will be called out and they will recive a prize.
- This event had to be removed due to some problems while finding people and awarding prizes during the New Year's Awakening event, we are sorry for this inconvince.
Event rules[edit]
- There is zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior such as insults, putdowns and any sort of profanity to the attending public. Violators will be removed and isolated from all activities and events of New Year's Awakening.
- Very lose dress code in effect due to our events that promote people to run around without armor on
- Please refrain from selling,trading,buying,recruiting within the districts as it would create pointless spam.
Aside those 3 simple rules lets have a blast while partying like rockstars!

Feel free to donate to our cause, we are looking for primarily the things listed below the list is ranked with 1 being the most important and relevant to the least relevant. Donate generously and party even harder! Contact info to donate to New Year's Awakening is listed below.
- Dwarven Ale, Aged Dwarven Ale, Hunter's Ale, Spiked Eggnog, Rice Wine, Eggnog, Juniberry Gin, Vabbian Wine, Witch's Brew, Vial of Absinthe.
- Snowman Summoners, Fireworks (Bottle Rocket, Champagne Popper, Sparkler), Ghost-in-the-Boxes
- Birthday Cupcakes, Honeycombs, Golden Eggs, Mandragor Root Cakes, Candy Canes (all types), Crème Brûlée, Fruitcakes, Red Bean Cakes, Chocolate Bunny.
- Raw Gold/Platinum (used to buy more ale and other assorted goodies)
- Consumables (creatable in Eye of the North from each faction)

- Note: All donations are for non-profit. No donations in no way, shape, or form are used for personal gain in the game, and all items were distributed to the guests of New Year's Awakening in a fair manner, free of scamming, foul play, and cheating in general.*
