What else does anyone think of when they hear the phrase "Finish him!"? If you don't immediately think of Mortal Kombat, you must have been on Mars in the 90s. --68.111.79.166 17:49, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Wow. I wasn't born in 90s (1991 ;d), but even I heard the "FINISH HIM!!!" shout... Dude, that's SO classic quote, that I can't think of another one, that EVERYONE knows. Don't tell me you never played/heard about Mortal Kombat, because I won't belive. Abedeus 18:46, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- I also know the Finish Him! shout from MK, but just that you have heared it from MK doesn't mean you could put it in trivia straight away...----InfestedHydralisk 19:06, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- If it was some other reference, then its probrably something copied off of MK anyways... (Terra Xin 05:35, 14 August 2007 (UTC))
bah, please wiki it could be anything. Tired of seeing things like an egyptian battle helmet described as inspired from star trek or whatever...Coruskane 16:09, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Trivia[edit]
Asking emily about it, so don't put anything there ~ Kurd 19:54, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- lol "Get over here" is also mentioned as a possible skill name in GW:EN (i believe it was found in the .dat), both are obvious references to Mortal Kombat. They use references like that all the time. Whats yer issue with ithere being a note saying, hey... this might be inked to something?--Midnight08 20:42, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- It's an obvious reference to MK. There's little doubt.--Drekmonger 21:04, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- Very obvious. Not only is it a well-known phrase from MK, but why would they use that wording otherwise? It makes absolutely no sense as anything but a reference. Capcom 08:35, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- Quote from Ben Miller (here) :
- MN: What’s your favorite mini-game?
- Ben Miller: They’re all really good. I used to play a lot of Street Fighter 2 Turbo a lot for the SNES; probably the Norn Fighting Tournament has to be my favorite. There’s so many omages and little in-jokes to not only Street Fighter, but Mortal Kombat, Samurai Showdown … if you’re a fighting game geek then the Tournament has a bunch of hidden easter eggs that people will really get into.
- I think it's pretty clear now, isn't it? Chriskang 13:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- No, we wait for Emily ~ Kurd 13:41, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- If it was intended to or not, the reference is there for people to see. Regardless of original intentions;) --Kyle van der Meer 21:16, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- it's so blatantly obvious there shouldn't be a need to wait. even if emily disavows any connection to the mk series, it's plain for ppl to see. it seems there's a pretty strong consensus for putting the trivia in and u're the only opponent. --VVong|BA 02:16, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Kurd, I suggest letting the MK edit stand and if Emily says, "No it's 100% not a reference to MK" then erase. Really, the chances designers would even care to answer that sort of question seems pretty low to me.--Drekmonger 10:35, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ok... revert me ~ Kurd 10:38, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Reverted... Seriously, you should be ashamed not to know about that famous quote from MK.. Abedeus 18:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Besides, the image is of two people fighting. And the one on the left looks like a ninja (as in the style that Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, and many others use often). --Heelz 01:44, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Confirmed by Emily changed it to "this IS" instead of "this may be a reference" ~ Kurd 18:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Cracked Armor for Eveyone! in PvE...[edit]
New source of non-affiliated Cracked Armor. The energy might be a bit high though... Da Si 05:40, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Leet, I think I'll stick this to my Warrior's bar. Cheap Cracked Armor + Deep Wound for everyone! Including monks :] Abedeus 16:10, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- But it's for PvE only :( ----InfestedHydralisk 19:55, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Get everyone in your party to carry this, and you could finish a battle with a nice AoE spike :D --Santax (talk · contribs) 19:57, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- AoE? but this hits only 1 foe ----InfestedHydralisk 20:02, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Everyone yells "Finish Him!" at someone else, and then AoE spike. - HeWhoIsPale 20:06, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

- "Toasty!"
- Mhenlo... wins... Monkality!
- Lmao, I find this skill probably best on warriors and rangers, cause they gain most synergy from it. Halogod35 15:06, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree. Eles and Necros do best with it, for a number of reasons; firstly, they have the energy regen to support spamming it. Secondly, they have no other way of applying Deep Wound, and for classes that do such high damage (in PvE), the addition of deep wound makes them simply deadly. Ranger DPS is terrible; they don't kill stuff on a regular basis unless you run six barragers. Finish Him on a warrior is unnecessary; warriors have all kinds of ways to apply Deep Wound, and since they're going to be in melee range of the target to hit it, the shout range of Finish Him never gets used. OgBSoYGT+Z9CNN2kxklV4CIDA is an example of a great ele bar to use this on. -Auron 15:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- I was thinking about the Cracked Armor deal, cause rangers have this useless skill called body shot. xD Halogod35 15:16, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Actually finish him + you move like a dwarf preceded by assassins promise = 1337 Lilondra 16:52, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Imagine killing something with only "You Move Like a Dwarf!" and "Finish Him!"... Such bullying *sigh*... Still, add "Dodge This!" and you've traumatized your victim for the rest of their life... Paddymew 17:16, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Cover[edit]
Does deep wound cover cracked armor as implied in the description, or is it the other way around? Probably best way to find out is find a monk monster with a single-condition remover, and see if the deep wound animation on the health bar disappears or not when the monk removes the condition. --8765 20:17, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Name[edit]
What if you use it on a female, will it have no effect? C4K3 Talk 16:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC) No,It will still refer to female as a him... Lol
- Rule 1 on the internetz; there are no girls on the internetz Tomoko 22:20, 20 May 2010 (UTC That isn't rule 1. That's rule 30. Rule 1 is completely different.```` Anonymous
Bug[edit]
I don't understand what the bug is saying. "On foes under Endure Pain, it will work when their health is 50% of what it would be without Endure Pain." 50% of normal health would be less than 50% of health with Endure Pain soo the target would still be under 50% health...98.124.11.133 04:00, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- It doesnt confuse me. If a normal target has 600hp, it needs to be 300hp for "FH!" to work. If the target uses Endure Pain and shoots his total HP up to 900hp, then you still need to get his HP back down to 300hp to work, not 450hp. This is how "FH!" ignores the effects of Endure Pain. --Moto Saxon 04:51, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Oh I see, I didn't think it through enough. Thank you for clearing that up.98.124.11.133 16:03, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
update[edit]
With more enemy health nowadays, you can say this was indirectly nerfed. Maybe rephrase the note? 76.242.77.240 22:52, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
- It's still true. More health doesn't mean the deep wound is applied last. 24.130.140.36 00:05, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
- WTB BUFF 4 FACEROLLING WITH DISCORD-BUILDS: E.G. IF THEY GO UNDER 50% HEALTH; THEY ARE DW'D AND TAKE DAMAGE. ALSO, IT SHOULD STACK, SO THAT IF YOU DO IT FOR LONG ENOUGH ON DUNCAN HE'S INSTA-GIBBED!--81.170.174.42 15:58, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
