Additional Dialogue[edit]

I don't have a screenshot handy, but bringing Gwen and Keiran as heroes into this quest will add some additional dialogue, and I would guess to following quests as well. -- User Elveh sig.png Elv 22:31, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I made sure to type all the dialog down... there's a LOT of it! The joys of contributing to the wiki...--Yojimaru 00:01, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Bugged enemies?[edit]

On both my NM and HM play throughs of this, the enemy NPCs seemed bugged and would not attack/cast for most of the mission, instead just standing around and running back and forth. Monks and Rits still healed, but it wasn't until there were only a dozen or so enemies left that they started to fight. Anyone else have that? Summit Axe.png St Lucretia 01:29, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Same, though most refrained from attacking at any number. Most ran up as if they wanted to go someplace behind me (HM). Also, if spoken to, Zei Ri says the 'Greetings friend! I hope that this day finds you well' dialogue even after killing Xan Hei in front of him. 217.123.20.8 21:46, 1 October 2011 (UTC),
Hangout place.jpgI somehow ran to this place and managed to kill all the MoP mobs without them really attacking me lol. --Kgptzac 04:02, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

BS?[edit]

Is this BS or what? I go through Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, EotN and now suddenly I have a problem killing people and I don't have achoice about that? The worst kind of melodramatic misunderstanding happens between folks (the initiates, the PC etc) who otherwise have been acting like Rambo reincarnated? Having single-handedly wiped out several species of plants, animals and sentient beings, my character suddenly has problems killing mafia memebers and runs away from the Ministry that's trying to clean up the country?! Bah humbug!

Miku[edit]

I want to kill her myself. YOU ARE NOT A PERMA MIKU STOP CHARGING IN --Ph03n1x 07:43, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Use traps under the ministry, use spiritwalls to block her movement, use stuff like Shelter + Shield of Absorption on her :p File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 10:21, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Allies don't block her movement, in my experience. I do micro a Soul Twisting hero with Shelter; she's just so darn headstrong! Traps are a good idea, though.--Ph03n1x 00:35, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

I'm talking to the Herald and the dialogue goes as normal, but nothing happens. --Ph03n1x 04:30, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

...nevermind that. I didn't have Hard Mode on :3 --Ph03n1x 05:16, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

Just attempted this mission, NM.. while Reiko was giving her speech, I ran over to Miku at the boat, and I guess my party bodyblocked her or something.. she took a few steps to the left before walking forward, and at this point, she was standing midair between the boat and the pier, to the right of the board connecting them. Once Reiko finished her speech and the Ministry became hostile, Miku never ran (presumably because she was glitched?) This is noteworthy to add to a bugs section, as it is best to avoid approaching Miku before the Ministry becomes hostile, or else the mission must be restarted. 174.253.2.53 02:38, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Xan Hei drops an item[edit]

For me, he dropped "The People's Will"

Additional Notes[edit]

While some may be included in the pursuers, you don't have to fight any of the "Elite" versions of the Ministry. This means that only one version of the mesmers have one enchantment removal, so protection works well for this mission. Neither hexes nor conditions are optimal here, so I went for simple damage and life steal. "Can't Touch This!" and a mass speed boost was helpful. Lord Flynt 02:44, 12 February 2013 (UTC)

Tips and Tricks[edit]

  • Plant SoS with that lifestealing skill on top of Miku before the foes wake up. Also bring an ST, flagged back out of the way.
  • Plant a ranger hero just behind Miku.

The extra targets surrounding her will distract the enemy long enough for her to get her heals up. Even in HM.

  • Be ready to go to NW stairs as soon as final foe is killed (in fact, let Miku kill the last one while you go to the staircase).
  • I also used Earthbind, with Churning Earth and Brambles. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.58.93.169 (talk) at 23:51, 7 April 2019 (UTC).
