Anywhere on the net we can read this? 68.193.113.198

Yes, you can. There are typed out versions on GWO and Guru. GWO's linked thread has both typed out and scanned pictures. I'm actually thinking that, since Regina said it's allowed, that we should type it out on this article. Sounds more logical to me, to be honest. I'll be just like the History of Tyria (work) and The Movement of the World to be honest. -- Azazel The Assassin\talk 01:50, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

The article...[edit]

I typed it out and put it up since it is allowed according to Regina here, figured that it should be on here with the other articles such as History of Tyria (work), History of Cantha, History of Elona, GW:EN and Now, The Movement of the World, and The Ecology of the Charr. -- Konig/talk 06:28, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Changes[edit]

moved from User talk:Santax/An Empire Divided

I like this idea a lot - I would of attempted such if I knew how to make columns in the text. A suggestion though: I don't think there's enough information or individuality to make articles for each "Age of the <animal>" - rather, perhaps link the first one to Canthan calendar and we can improve that to include these ages. Thanks, the idea came from looking at Wikisource originally. I'm thinking of building a proper "library" of in-universe texts using Category:Literature (there's probably sufficient stuff on GW2W to do the same there, too), but the idea is still in its infancy - I'm open to suggestions. --Santax (talk · contribs) 13:15, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
For GW2W, the blog posts that were transferred I attempted to mirror the sources, for instance gw2:A Spirit of Legend. Was wanting to do the same to The Ecology of the Charr and the Movement of the World, but again, didn't know how to make columns. Konig/talk 17:20, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
I think the moving was a tad bit immature - I'd like to at least get cleaner images of those provided. I also don't see the first image being necessary. It should also be noted that the text in "1390 CC (880 AE)" underneath the "tribal" image (should be moved) is overlapping the image; as is the the header "The Kurzick Faction" with the image (of Shing Jea) above that. Don't know how that's all set up, tbh, so I don't know how to fix them. Konig/talk 03:08, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
I regard the first image as the "cover", although I also see the argument for removing it since the section doesn't "being" in the PRIMA guide until the next page. If someone removed it I wouldn't oppose it.
The setup for the images spanning multiple columns is quite primitive, and it involves lots and lots and lots of linebreaks. Someone with a WYSIWYG editor or more knowledge of how tables work in wikis could probably have done better with it. What browser are you using? I imagine your issue is easily fixed, but chances are it's break it for another browser. --Santax (talk · contribs) 03:15, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
I use firefox. Konig/talk 03:34, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

The Shiro'ken[edit]

For the rendered images of the Shiro'ken and boat, you might try coaxing User:Magamdy into getting something. He's been getting a lot of NPC models ripped out of the game and rendering them with 3DSMAX. That Sounds Risky | 04:18, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I'll look into it. Thanks for your work on the cover by the way, how did you manage it? I wasn't able to find any images of Shiro like that on the web. --Santax (talk · contribs) 04:51, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
It's actually one of the wallpapers right on the official site, it just needed to have its colors fixed. That Sounds Risky | 05:04, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, the green Shrio wallpaper :P–User Balistic B d-dark.pngalistic 05:04, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Images[edit]

I found more concept art images of Factions here. I just don't know who does what image. 72.148.31.114 01:17, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

Those are all on the wiki, and completely irrelevant to this article. Konig/talk 02:54, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
