Talk:Animate Shambling Horror

I put all the animate skills in the "related skills" section, as they are all related to each other. I'm going to search through and update all of them. This way, when people look up one skill they can see all their minion options. =) RitualDoll 17:09, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

The Shabling Horror's Look[edit]

Doesn't look like a big raw piece of cow meat with legs?Bazooka56

Bug?[edit]

I don't know if this is true for all NPC's, but the Afflicted Necromancers are currently using this skill, and if the Necromancers die before the Shambling Horror does, then no Jagged Horror will spawn. I don't know if this is known or not, but I didn't see an annotation. I'll test it for PC's as well shortly. PowerGamer 02:14, 9 July 2011 (UTC)

Tested. If the Shambling Horror is unbound, then no Jagged Horror is produced. I will annotate the notes, I suppose. PowerGamer 02:20, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
"If the caster dies" is not the same thing as "unbound. Tested that a re-acquired Shambling (via Veratta's Gaze) does produce a Jagged after the caster dies amd os rezzed. So am changing the note to "Unbound".
Also tested having my Hero acquire it, and it spawned a Jagged (at my Death Rank not the Hero's). llandale 02:08, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Death Nova?[edit]

It's not mentioned but i'm guessing you can use it on the shambling, it's death will trigger death nova, then cast it on the jagged replacement too. Maybe useful for extended fights against bosses? Ofc the little bastards take forever to catch up usually, but some bosses have handy nearby grps. Durp da durp (talk) 03:32, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
