Correct. Shadow Runner 01:18, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
/bet permanent feature of UW. RIP SF, long live 600? --BlueNovember 16:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
ignore PS aswell and just every shit even seed of life and pain inverter

Still doable for UWSC just takes a little more effort. Use an A/E sliver perma to pull in main chamber and kill the skele there. You could also have a roaming sin run around killing the ones in bad locations and have the team do vale at the end of the run as a team. This doesnt really end UWSC just slows it down a bit and has effectively removed vale support from the mix, so now you're looking at 8 permas as opposed to 7. So all they really did was end pugs and new guys trying to start out...SC's will be here from now until the game shuts down simply because it is quicker and more effective farming. No matter whats done to an area, a skill, whatever nerfs take effect someone will find a way around them, because thats what we do. So yeah, if they keep nerfing UW in an effort to end this it only makes PUG groups with 'non-gimmick' builds nearly impossible to run. At this point, just ignore the whiners a-net and let the SC's be, it allowed everyone with a little skill and time to prosper in a stale game economy where the only items of value were related directly to these runs...ectos, shards, con sets. Nothing will be worth anything if you nerf it to hell and back.

Don't worry Anet will utterly and totally nerf Speed clearing in such a way that it will be a joke to even mention it and I'll laugh and laugh.71.245.209.84 04:44, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Not sure why toons have to QQ about its existance...let me guess wammos?

Has anyone tried blinding them? will the shards still hit? Thirdincarnate 22:43, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
If they don't miss with a 100% chance to miss (SF), they won't miss with a 90% chance to miss. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 22:44, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Dodging, perhaps? NuVII User NuclearVII signature 3.jpg 22:55, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
"The bone spike is a slow-moving projectile bow attack that cannot miss or be blocked, but can be dodged or obstructed." For wanting to know so much about this stuff, people seem to skip the actual page a lot. --Kyoshi 23:23, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Considering it is a Monster skill that hasn't been in existance long, I thought it might behave differently than other skills, and hence the reason I asked about the blindness. A miss may be a miss, but bugs and other issues sometimes prevent things from behaving normally Thirdincarnate 06:57, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
It does behave differently, which is why it was noted exactly how it does behave, on the page. Ignoring the possibilities of strange way-out-there bugs (like if being under the effects of Anthem of Envy or something made it miss) it sounds pretty clear to me. I was gonna test it just to be sure for you, but we don't have favor right now, so I'll get around to it. EDIT: Forgot login --Kyoshi 07:34, 7 November 2009 (UTC) (Oh dear, my signature is messy...)
Tested. It doesn't miss. --[ Kyoshi ]::[ Talk ] 18:49, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Yep, I tested it with Sneak Attack during a farming run. Regular attacks miss, but neither Bone Spike nor Flurry of Splinters are affected by blindness.--99.60.230.83 07:14, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
