Talk:Call to the Torment
Question on the skill[edit]
Can this skill be interrupted (aside from killing the creature)? If so, will the skill be interrupted by knock down, or skills like Distracting Shot, or Cry of Frustration, or...? So far my necromancer and dervish have been the only characters to travel extensively in the Realm of Torment, and neither character was carrying much in the way of interrupts. --Nkuvu 07:30, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
I just noticed this now, and i don't know if you have found out yet so i'll just answer for you. For so far i know, Call to the Torment can't be interrupted. Because it's Type is Skill, and Skills activate instantly, just like Shouts and Stances, but those 2 can be prevented. So there's no chance to interrupt it or to prevent it. -- Mepp 13:43, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Currently, this article says that the creature takes double damage from "most" sources. What sources does it not take double damage from? In my opinion, that whole section should be removed because it is obvious. 69.232.211.113 00:54, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
- +1. That bit did confuse me for a while, and maybe there should be a bit more research into it, but essentially, it is unneeded. Laurielegit 17:26, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
- Life loss and life steal don't count as "damage". 96.41.181.111 18:13, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
Indefinite Aggro Range[edit]
I was watching a YouTube video of an R/A whirling Tank Solo all of domain of Anguish. I studied the details of this video, and it seems that he purposefully duplicated the torment creatures (specifically the "soul Tormentors") and than was able to have them attack him throughout the entire dungeon. Apparently they have no aggro-break range.
So should it be noted that Duplicated creatures have infinite aggro range? perhaps you guys can study the video and see what i mean. perhaps if someone good enough can test this as well.

- The reason why duplicated monsters do not break aggro is due to the fact that their AI is not programmed to have a spawn location or patrol route. They have nowhere to return to, so to speak, and thus do not break aggro. Although they will stop chasing you once you run out of their compass range. Not sure what happens when you re-enter their compass range, though. - Infinite - talk 01:12, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- This isn't true, the duplicated enemies return to the point where they spawned. The infinite follow range is not actually about duplicated enemies, it is just that some of the torment creatures (notably water and soul tormentors) IF they have the correct weapon type will follow you infinitely. This is true of normal mobs not just the duplicated ones.
