Uhmm, can someone let me know if I can do this on a NIGHTFALL character??? I go up to this guy, but no Exclamation point. If it's for factions only characters, it should be specified on the page, thank you.--Rella 03:26, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

If you haven't done Terror in Tyria yet you should be able to take it, unless it was changed in some update of course. If you are sure you can't acess Lion's Arch yet and can't take the quest you could put that on the page yourself. Etienne 13:09, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

My level 15 Paragon also can't obtain this quest. I get the window informing me to talk to the NPC to get the quest, but when I try to talk to Chienpo, there's no quest. She's only up to Diggings in Nightfall, and hasn't been ferried to LA from Nightfall. My Dervish was able to do this quest about a year ago, so I'm thinking that it's a bug with an update. My NF Ranger cant ferry form KC to LA :/

Same problem here. I think somewhere along the line, an update screwed this up, and they never bothered to fix it.

yeah my ranger is from NF as well and cant get either quests from Cantha or Elona to get to tyria, whats up with this? -- Brendan12303 00:30, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

I should also add that my guy is level 20, far past Istan in NF and is in luxon/kurzick territory in factions. So it must be a glitch of some sort thats not fixed..it should be ASAP-- Brendan12303 00:32, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

I also can't obtain this quest with an Elonian, even though I get the message. So I think it's safe to say this is a bug or just that only Canthan characters can obtain the quest. - Wai Fung 04:49, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Requirements updated and Notes added

I was looking at this quest related to some checking I was doing related to Lion's Gate and realized that the requirements were wrong, having used the quest to Ferry lots of people to Lion's Arch. I decided to do some detailed testing, just to make sure that nothing had recently changed and found that everything worked as I expected. I don't know if they were originally as stated prior to my update, or were just wrong from the beginning, but specifically regarding the previous requirements listed:

1. Guild Wars Prophecies (incomplete - needs to be linked to Guild Wars Factions on the same account)
2. Non-Prophecies character (not true - must be Guild Wars Factions character to obtain quest and can't have taken reward for it previously).
3. Lion's Arch port not unlocked yet. (not true - can happily obtain and repeat this quest as many times as you like with Lion's Arch unlocked, again provided you don't take reward).

Quest Not Given

I am a Factions character who has already travelled to Nightfall and Eye of the North (I got the trilogy expansion pack). However, Guardsman Chienpo does not provide Chaos in Kryta. What is going on?? --Recon legend (talk) 18:52, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

hmm interesting. Perhaps there is another requirement that we haven't listed yet. Do you know perchance which was the last Primary quest that you did in Factions? Chieftain Alex 19:00, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

and you're sure that you haven't done Terror in Tyria + somehow dc'ed during the quest and thus not unlocked LA? -Chieftain Alex 19:02, 14 July 2014 (UTC)
