The duration needs to be increased to counteract the affects of healing breeze.William Wallace 05:19, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

No it needs a 2 second recharge to counter Healing Breeze or no recharge to counter echo mending.--74.61.209.219 05:45, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Oh snap, you need mirror of disenchantment for those bad boys. And why not carry Rip Enchantment along with Corrupt to get dual enchants? Rip doesn't suck so much anymore.FleshAndFaith 06:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Apparently the fact that this is spammable removal got lost in the sarcasm for some, and the fact that it was sarcasm to begin with was lost for others. --SoraMitsukai 07:32, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
But it's not spammable enough on its own. Not by a long shot. Thats why I, in full seriousness, suggested Rip Enchantment. Thats double enchantment removal for more than max degen that can only be removed with both hex and conditional removal. Nuff said? I think so. FleshAndFaith 00:10, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

So, what exactly is the icon? I see a hand and a power sphere thing, but idk what the rest of it is. Hasaple 03:53, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

This is perfect for use on those pre-veiled monks.Farlong 05:23, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes, waste your elite, 5 energy, 1.5sec+.75sec aftercast to remove one enchantment with no other effect (veil removes this hex). Or you could use rip enchantment to add bleeding, cast faster and not waste your elite.Crimmastermind 06:11, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
inserts self into this... Where the hell do u get 1.5+aftercast? The aftercast make it 1.5... Ur a very smart anti- necromancer troll i can see and ya i know im commenting on something old...67.142.166.25 02:49, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
  • nudges in comment* this is a hex spell so veil makes cast time 1.5, making it 1.5+aftercast. rip enchant causes bleeding, not a hex, so it's cast time isn't double and is more effective against veil. Better to save corrupt for something else, necros have enough long cast time spells as it is. 114.77.98.223 07:08, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
This isn't a waste... Sure, I wouldn't use it against a veiled monk, but I would use it against any other kind of monk. I always carry Rip Enchantment with this elite anyways. Stack the degen, opens up opportunities for spells that require a hexed or conditioned target. Fun. FleshAndFaith 21:30, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

If there bringing two enchants or more envenom would be better. EDIT: since i know someone will say it, yes degen caps at 10, but if they have any regen.... Materia user 21:41, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

See, I'd rather bring two skills that cause more than 10 degen over 1 skill that offers less than 10 degen, even if I go over 1 or 2 pips. It's only wasteful if you have 10 points of degen from hexes, and you apply bleeding just for the hell of it. Also, this casts really fast and doesn't have a huge recharge. Hex Breaker?[edit]

When used on a target maintaining hex breaker, is an enchantment still removed?--74.63.86.222 16:31, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Based on the wording of both skills, I'd say yes: CE would remove an enchantment, then the hex would fail and HB would end. I will try and test it later today. FleshAndFaith 20:35, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
