matches Hayda's armor well[edit]

The only problem is the 20% sundering is not nearly as useful as 10% Furious and +5 energy is preferable to have enough of an energy pool for multiple shouts. Luckily Brass Spears are cheap. --Life Infusion «T» 16:44, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

Nah. +5 Energy is really only useful for dedicated Motigons (or caster professions, of course) who aren't concerned much about doing too much damage and will probably only have a single attack skill, if any (which is simply so they too can trigger attack-skill related Chants from the Commandagons in the team). In which case you'd be better off with Prayer of the Forgotten instead of this, which is the perfect spear for such dedicated Motigons (+5 Energy for more expensive Chants, and 10% Adrenaline to faster power Chorus of Restoration and more often for energy and Paragon-team healing). But your typical Commandagon or Spearagon (who are far more common anyway as they are actually effective outside of all Paragon teams, unlike Motigons) is much better off with this, 15^50 and Sundering 20/20, as these are Paragon builds with a stronger focus on doing damage. Of course, 3/1 Vampiric would still be preferable to Sundering on a player character, but on Heroes Sundering is nice seems they can't swap out weapon sets. 82.11.226.30 22:59, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
If you ask me a furious mod is the best for a paragon, +5 energy is very useful as well knowing the costs of some shouts and chants. Their roles are currently support and not deal serious damage so sundering and vampiric are less useful on paragons than they would be on the other martial classes. I find spears (and bows) to slow on their own to merit vampiric. Also: what mystic said. Konig/talk 23:40, 2 December 2011 (UTC)
