This Skill Sucks

Sorry, just had to get that out of my system. THIS SKILL SUCKS! It might apply Deep Wound, but seriously, why would you want that at the cost of 5 Energy? You'll have to spamming a knockdown and we all know how much adrenaline knockdowns take. It's deep wound, it's +damage, and it you need to apply deep wound to spike something you should already have knocked them down anyway. Deep wound is invaluable for killing things. - HeWhoIsPale 15:47, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Two words: Pulverizing Smash. It's superior to this skill in almost every way (additional weakness, can be used more often, adrenaline-based and so synergises better with hammer knockdown elites), and if you're trying to do a quick spike with a hammer, you're doing something fundamentally wrong. Pulverizing Smash Concise description: Deals less damage than Crushing Blow. Restore Condition heals for twice as much and you cannot use Flail. (Attrib: Hammer Attacks That Can't Follow Hammer Bash)

Well it depends on where you are. In PvP it's possible that the extra +damage might be more useful than weakness, but I hate the recharge on Crushing Blow. I personally prefer something like Backbreaker or Enraged Smash followed by PSmash rather than dumping adrenaline using Hammer Bash (which I assume you want to use, looking at that sarcastic skill description). Also, what's the deal with "...and you cannot use Flail"? How does PSmash stop you using Flail in any way? Finally, in PvE taking PSmash over CBlow is a no-brainer. If you kd -> psmash, you can't use flail without taking an extra attack, whereas with crushing you can use flail at the same time. Assuming you use an adrenaline kd, of course.--67.240.83.137 22:27, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
