Other pages that have the same inventory icon for a more expensive item have notes that indicate such items may be used for scams, but I'm not familiar with this particular scam so I don't know if that applies. Freedom Bound 16:34, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

I think its worth the note... ask I recall the scam page does reference the term crystal snowflake... and people might come looking for what the crystal snowflake may mean in reguards to a scam... I don't think a disambig page is needed tho MrPaladin talk 16:35, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

It's the simple bait and switch scam. We already have stuff about it in the scam article, but not relating to this specific item. Basically, someone says "wtb crystal snowflake 60e", then later someone says "wts crystal snowflake 30e". A lot of people use this item to do it. Karate Jesus 16:37, 10 June 2009
