Why do Dervish heroes with this skill equipped not cast it as soon as they enter an explorable area? Mesmer heroes will auto-cast Illusion of Weakness. Both are un-maintained enchantments, so what's the difference?--158.147.93.45 13:46, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

i think it got updated now 24.141.45.72 19:25, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, it was fixed in an update. Firil Srein 23:56, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

What's the difference, just force it on the hero control bar. Ojamo 22:20, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

That takes a lot of macroing your heroes. Dark Morphon(contribs) 15:02, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Notes[edit]

The description isn't obvious to all users. I didn't know the healing effect occurs if you self remove the enchantment. Also I didn't know that the healing occurs after the damage for the 50% health thing.--Bive 03:36, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

"When Faithful Intervention ends, you are healed for 30...126...150 Health." , seeing as it never ends it must imply that the healing occurs when it is removed, and it is only removed via dropping below 50% health, or, enchantment strip. Have a nice day :> Frosty 15:15, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
The concise description is flawed when it comes to describing that mechanic, it seems. Such a shame. 99.224.116.125 23:18, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Ends on life steal / self sacrifice?[edit]

Does anyone know / can test whether or not faithful intervention ends itself if a self sacrificing skill (eg. Order of Pain) or an offensive life stealing skill (eg. Vampiric Gaze) brings your health under 50%? Is this a trend for all "X intervention"-type skills? 99.224.116.125 23:18, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Intervention only triggers on damage which does not include sacrifice, life steal, or degen. I don't think "health loss" counts either. Some skills like Grenth's Balance or Infuse Health I am not certain what would happen. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 23:33, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Doesnt end on degen[edit]

The skill doesnt end when its degenned with bleeding, burning, poison, disease.. maybe add that? 77.164.165.114 16:04, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

added note:

This skill does not end when health degeneration drops your health below 50%. DemonicFahrir 07:58, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Well duh, the description says its ends when DAMAGE drops your health below 50%, which is a little bit different than degen; I think that shouldn't be an anomaly. Kormon Balser 14:44, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Maybe nitpicking but[edit]

While I DO understand that anything but damage doesn't do it, suppose, yes, the nitpicking part, life darin.. for example, took you to 49 percent, then you take a hit that crosses you past 50%... would THAT trigger it, I wonder? Foxfire 15:52, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

yes. --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 16:49, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Will this skill prevent death for a battery?[edit]

will this skill prevent death? (N/D)I have "Faithful Intervention" up and while buffing party members with blood ritual, I sacrifice myself down to 80hp (from 600). Then I run up and use Grenths Balance on Duncan but he manages to get a lucky hit in. Would I survive a 100+ health hit even though my mysticism is 0? 69.165.222.73 17:57, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
