LDoA Trivia[edit]

I normally stay away from editing the wiki because of these inane trivia edits but how does "Sigh. I wonder if I'll ever get to level 20." specifically reference LDoA in any way? Reaching level 20 (or max level) is a milestone for everyone, regardless of whether or not they are in pre-searing. Four out of the ten professions that will say this quote are not eligible for LDoA in the first place, so it would make no sense for them to say it. Not everything is a reference to something. 122.111.186.46 17:00, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Yes. It is a milestone for everyone, everywhere. But in pre-Searing it is an iconic milestone that grants a title an takes considerably more time than anywhere else. and before the title getting to level 20 was arduous and sought as prestigious. Reaching level 20 in Factions? Meh. In less than 3 hours it's done with ease. Nightfall? No more than 6. About 18 or so without tricks like farming or running to high level areas in Prophecies. But in pre-Searing? Ah...! That will take time... a long time. So long that you will start wondering "if you'll ever get to level 20"'. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 17:10, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
It still doesn't make sense that a Factions or Nightfall character will be wondering if they will ever get LDoA... because they aren't from Ascalon and can never get it, but they can get to level 20. Most players will get to level 20 but won't get LDoA (so they will complete the objective but still not give a hoot about LDoA because they didn't get LDoA). There is nothing specific in that quote to indicate LDoA. This is just another case of people seeing trivia where they want to see trivia. 58.110.33.64 20:02, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
The idle and combat lines the character says are all for a pre-Searing character. They just didn't add different lines for non-Prophecies character. So it doesn't matter that it doesn't make sense. It doesn't have to make sense. It's not as if Paragons would actually fly to Ascalon using their wings. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 08:52, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
