I can understand your perspective, but I thought this storyline was very sweet, in a way. You're right that it's messed up, but a lot of real-life extreme (non-)survival stories are, too - what's interesting is how people manage to find the fortitude to cope with the horrors of the situation. Then again, maybe I'm okay with this just because I come from Oregon, one of only two U.S. states to legalize assisted suicide; I do think it's okay to choose to die when it's the better alternative. --Mercenary 07:42, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
