Talk:Fanatical Devotion
Named after the Monty Python sketch?
- I think you'll find all of the White Mantle/Peacekeeper greens have names relating to zealotry so it's probably just a coincidence. Unless there is correlation other than the name, I doubt it's the case. 58.106.158.34 16:47, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- well there are also items like Law and Order, so Anet possibly tried to find cultural references while still keeping to that theme. —ZerphaThe Improver 13:15, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- ANet missed an opportunity, I think. If only they had named the spear "Ruthless Efficiency" and paired it with this shield. --Valentein 20:28, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Notes[edit]
Since when did clipping issues qualify as notes? 58.106.158.34 16:44, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- Clipping issues with the face it says? What kind of weapon has a clipping issue with a face? Don't see a pic of this one yet. Tender Wolf 01:04, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oops, just realized it's a shield hehe, so depending on its size I guess that makes sense. Though you'd think it would have clipping issues with everyone's face while they're under the effect of a speed boost. Meh, I'm just curious to see what it looks like. :D Tender Wolf 01:05, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- When assassins are under IMS, they run "funny" with their body twisted sideways a little bit, and that's probably what puts the shield in their face. I'd imagine this to be the case with most large shields, though. Rose Of Kali 07:58, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- It wouldn't hurt for the note to say "Has clipping issues" or "This shield has clipping issues" instead of plain blunt "Clipping issues" as long as it's there. It took me a while to understand the note like this. // HeavenMonkey 23:36, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Stats[edit]
I've always wondered just how useful the typical -5 damage or whatever mods are. The mod on this one is pretty interesting, considering that the point of a paragon is to spam stuff instead of tanking or suffering damage like Warriors or Monks. Would a shield like this see any actual use in either PvE or PvP because of this mod? Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 20:49, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Paragon usually play imbagon and as an imbagon a mod with -5/20 is nice because you will be the one that gets targeted most often in regular play because you have the lowest armor. In organized play an imbagon usually will want a shield with -20% blind or a +10 armor mod in it. This mod isn't really all that great for an imbagon. But for other paragon builds it is because it increases dps a tiny bit.
I don`t know where to drop the point, but I got it from a Shaemoor Gate Guard. I got a screen but don`t know how to put it here. byebye Diors olen --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:213.93.97.233 (talk).
