Is it not a better idea to list all feeder enchantments (if there are more, anyway?) Koda User Koda Kumi Horns1.GIF 19:47, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Been using Fleeting Stability and Whirling Charge to "feed" Avatar of Dwayna. Example --Falconeye 07:25, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I guess that works if your hero is wanding like a pro. Still, that use doesn't fit the definition of feeder given on the page: it's supposed to be "fodder" for skills that "consume" enchantments — avatar of dwayna benefits from the enchantment ending, bit does not consume it. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 14:53, 24 Feb 2011 (UTC)
Using the strict definition of feeder as given on this page, no, it wouldn't fit - but the general concept of feeder skills is years old (divine spirit + sig devo to fuel deny hexes, and more recently, eles stacking otherwise useless enchants for erenewal). Using the broader sense of the term, enchants can be used to "feed" skills that don't necessarily remove them. -Auron 17:25, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
I don't have a problem with the page defining a broader concept, but, as it is now, it defines a narrow concept but gives examples that do not fit into it. One of those two things need to be changed; I don't really have any preference as to which. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 17:55, 24 Feb 2011 (UTC)
I've never seen the term used before the dervish skill update preview came along, and that update was very specific about their relation to teardown skills. Unless there's evidence that the term has been used before, I think we should restrict the skill list to the intended meaning. It's diffuse enough as is with the distinction between "feeder" and "keep" enchantment, if we dilute it further it'll end up as a big pile of random skills that's useful to no one.
Not that I mind listing similar mechanics, but IMHO the notes section is fitting enough for those (and fairly complete, barring the more obscure examples). Tub 23:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Then create a seperate article for "keep" skills, and some others? That way Feeder remains "Distilled" to its essence in relation to dervish update, but is linked to an evolving/broader concept that applies to all professions? --Falconeye 04:41, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
