- To make this page a little more useful to the discerning traveller, the spawns activate when *both* altars are lit, and comprise 4 groups of about 4 or 5 Djinn. I noted 3 Sapphire and 1 Ruby per group in most cases. They spawn at the four corners, on the bridges leading into the centre about midway along the bridge, and quickly move to the centre. Very possible to kill the lot of them if you are prepared well. If the groups kill you, whatever Djinn you didn't manage to kill head south out the room and seem to mill around in the lower end of the corridor, they can be successfully pulled in their groups. The horde is insane. Several massive groups spawn along the western path out. I almost finished the vanquish until this happened. The "fewer foes" thing is misleading.
However, the large groups are pullable into smaller groups. I still vanquished it. Burned up a powerstone of courage, though...Molech 21:53, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

EDIT: Wow. lol. Over 105 elementals slain in that VQ... I saw the librarian, running towards us, and behind him, a horde of at least 20 djinns... and eventually had to fight big groups, few wipes... But I now have my Elonian Vanquisher ..Phew... so relieved..WingsOfExilia 03:30, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Just did the quest. I ran up through the middle, few enemies. Did the quest bits, fought off the djinns that came along. Set the altars up, a mob of about eight appeared. I ran back down the middle path. No new djinn spawned there. I didn't even need to be with the Librarian when I reached the exit. Quest updated, I mapped to Mihanu Township and got the reward. Djinn Horde[edit]
Flee from the djinn horde? The djinn horde should flee from me, I just fought them all together with no deaths in normal mode. Not as tough as I remember. --
