Curses, really?[edit]
Ok, so this article claims this skin is available with a Curses req. I've seen quite a few of these offhands, and they're ALWAYS Death Magic req. Can anyone confirm that this particular skin of "Grim Cesta," which looks like a mummified claw/talon thing drops linked to Curses? I'm not at all opposed to something existing that I don't know about (far from it!) but I've noticed a lot of people looking for these over the years. If this was a mistake in listing, let's get the article fixed and stop wasting folks' time. LicensedLuny 03:24, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well, no replies. :( Looking at the history, I suspect what happened is that this page was created as a copy of another skin variant. There are some confusing mixes of collector/crafter/quest reward offhand names mixing "Accursed Icon" or "Grim Cesta" with skins and requirements we're not used to seeing as loot. I think this was just mislisted from the very start. I'm taking Curses off the main article, but if someone is sure that this particular skin named "Grim Cesta" can be had with a Curses requirement, feel free to correct me. Cheers! - You're right indeed, that one got messed up when splitting the article and i didn't notice that. It seems to be tied exclusively to Death Magic. (Two of my heroes carry these around, both with Death Magic requirement.) —ZerphaThe Improver 17:10, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Salvage info[edit]
NEVER salvage these for bone. This claw version of the grim cesta is always around 1-5 bones even with highly salvageable on it you *might* get very slightly more. The only worse weapon for bones is talon daggers (1-3 bones). The glove version of the grim cesta is a much better amount of bones per salvage up to around half a stack with hs on it.
