Conversation outside of Ascalon City[edit]

The following conversation takes place outside of Ascalon City. I'm not sure if it goes with this quest. Can someone please confirm the conversation below occurs while this quest is active?

Outside Ascalon City
King Adelbern: "Stand aside, Rurik."
Prince Rurik: "Before you do this, Father, think about your motives."
King Adelbern: "That Krytan is a cancer on the underbelly of Ascalon. I need no further motive than that to cut him away before he does more harm."
Prince Rurik: "Ambassador Zain is here to offer us aid. He extends his hand in friendship."
King Adelbern: "No Krytan will ever be a friend of Ascalon."
Prince Rurik: "Do not be foolish, old man! If you have not noticed, Ascalon is in no position to turn away help, even from those who were once our enemies."
King Adelbern: "I grow tired of this, Rurik. Step aside this instant! We are here to arrest Ambassador Zain and try him as a traitor of this nation."
Prince Rurik: "I will not allow you to jeopardize the fate of Ascalon because of your petty jealousy! If you intend to arrest the ambassador, then you will first have to go through me."
Prince Rurik: "Go home father. Let me deal with this."
King Adelbern: "This is a mistake, Rurik. Mark my words. This Krytan will be the death of us all."
King Adelbern: "Guards. With me."

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. - Mai Tenchi 15:59, 14 April 2007 (EDT)

I have done some research. First i completed the previous quest and entered Ascalon City and re entered Old Ascalon without taking any quests. Second i took this quest and got back to Ascalon city and re entered Old Ascalon without delivering the supplies, no conversation appeared. Third i delivered the supplies and re entered Old Ascalon. This seems to be the trigger because King Adelburn and Prince Rurik where there this time to have their row. Silencio 07:14, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
I've done this quest six times before and never noticed that dialogue, until now on my seventh Prophecies toon. Ramei Arashi 22:48, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
This has been around at least since I've been playing (my oldest character is now 59 months). This event was one of the things that impressed me about GW, showing the beginning rift between Adelbern and Rurik. They just stand around until you get close enough, just like with the pre-searing convo between Rurik and Osric (Gift for Althea).
They don't start talking until Adelbern gets closer to Rurik. If you're just heading straight out, and/or race past them without looking right at them, it's easy to miss the whole thing. 76.164.71.104 08:43, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
