October 12 Skill Update[edit]

I didn't realize this was in need of a nerf with a 10 second recharge. It's a very conditional elite, especially if ran in GvG where the only common hexes are on the flag runner. I thought the 10 second recharge gave it a little more appeal. --Rururrur 19:51, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

It's because Izzy doesn't like non-targeted enchantment removal anymore. He wants to keep buffing Shadow Form, Ob Flesh, Vos of Silence and Spell Breaker. Like they really need it. =\ Probably because he uses them. I'm pretty sure that's why Savage Shot is still better then Punishing, so he can use it without wasting his elite spot. In my opinion, this skill seems overpowered. Even if you remove the hex, you still have a chance to not hit anyone with the 2nd effect.--§ Eloc § 15:06, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Ritual... Izzy isn't the only skill balancer in the game. He is just the wiki figure head who catches crap from all the idiots who think he is solely responsible for nerfing the skills they use. So instead of crying that he only buffs his favorite skills, and only nerfs those that can damage them, think about what you are doing by crying about it. You are crying because skills you don't like get buffed, and skills you do like get nerfed. FleshAndFaith 04:28, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

A Royal Pain in the Arse[edit]

I think anyone who's played through Eye of the North has come to absolutely DESPISE this spell... XD KrelusDerian 20:19, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Anyone who has played through EotN with this spell has come to absolutely love it... as long as you have someone in the frontline. --onoes! Mafaraxas 21:42, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Anyone who uses conditions over hexes to kill quickly has come to ignore this skill.--66.192.104.10 18:27, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Overnerfed a little bit?[edit]

Why? :S this spell don't see much use only in GvG and some times *rarely <.<* at HA, this is one of my fav PvE skills when vanquishing hex heavy areas, 15 recharge is just too much :/, I still don't get why it got hit a second time >_< Aljazya 22:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

It was one of the key Mesmer GvG elites actually, the enchantment death is destructive enough as it is, the damage is just there to irritate the monks, which it still does, just a bit more difficult to make an oppertunist spike now. --Ckal Ktak 23:02, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Shitty that this skill got killed. — Eloc 03:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeh, I loved it in PvE too. And I'm repeating myself. --click moar Mafaraxas 03:54, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

it was overnerfed , now it's crap. they should have changed only the enchant removal on this skill , something like "Remove a hex from target ally. If target ally is still hexed foes near that ally lose one enchantment" , they should not kill such a good skill--189.70.203.37 12:41, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

It was overpowered, quite often too. User:ISnowBunnyISnow Bunny 00:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
This was overpowered, it's good they nerfed it. Stop QQingplx. Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:11, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
And it's still a good skill. 122.105.47.184 09:08, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Buff[edit]

The recast time for this skill is to long to make use of it. Drop the recast time to ten seconds.William Wallace 19:24, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Are you Izzy by any chance? :S 99.238.72.237 07:30, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
