Talk:Hexbreaker Aria

This need to be changed to Hexbreaker Song. Tbh most hexes are aimed against melee these days, and it is a shame only casters benefit from this skill(which paragon isn't). --Spura 12:47, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Anet failed with paragons hard. As a result, paragon's skills are nerfed with the fear a large group of them would become invicible. With just attack skills, this could actually be somewhat true. Barkingllama 05:07, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Using skills to recharge your adrenaline that are in Leadership, you can keep using the Aria most of the time and hence here's where the Paragon groups can exploit this. I still wonder if they are still discussing a mechanism in order for a large group not to exploit skills like Hexbreaker Aria.--ShadowFog 05:14, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

The thing that seriously kills this is the 2 sec cast time. letting your casters remove a hex for free is nice and all but in pve I cant stand getting interupted and in pvp its not necessary to have since there are better skills to remove hexes that need to be removed. CASTING a spell or USING a spell?[edit]

i was wondering does this only work if the enemy actually gets the spell off or does it work if they simply use a spell? like if the spell fails because it was inurupted or cast against something or som1 with spell breaker or shadow form does it still work?

Are you trying to get your spell to fail for some mysterious gain? Dont ask questions just to ask a question. Suppose im answering a 3 year old post... Justice 06:12, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
It should only remove a hex if the spell is fully cast, not interrupted or failed. But just so you know, Spell Breaker and Shadow Form prevent targeting now instead of failing, so the spell can't begin casting in the first place. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 06:38, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Hex removal order[edit]

When is the hex removed? Case in point: will it or will it not cut through Shame/Diversion? User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 20:29, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Also SV/Backfire/Soul Leech/VoR/etc. If no one answers, I'll test it. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 20:30, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Backfire, at least, still triggers - tested on Master of Hexes. MA Anathe 01:33, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Making paragon's even more useless[edit]

I can see shieldset monks use this skill by gaining adrenaline via spear attacks.--Eclipse143 06:16, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

You're crazy if you actually think monks would take this skill for a hex removal. 99.2.137.111 16:39, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
