Agreed, they didn't research this one thoroughly enough. Now it seems that if you didn't come to the earlier events (either because you couldn't or didn't own the game then), then you're basically getting a bollocking from ANet. I missed the first 2 events and subsequently 3 masks, and I can only get one token PER ACCOUNT, PER EVENT. I seriously doubt anyone who even cares enough to get these masks (ie. completionist) is gonna still be playing GWI when this time next year everyone will be balls-deep in GWII. It SHOULD have been one token per CHARACTER, per event.. that way those who have multiple characters on their account can at least get them working hard enough to get the tokens required for the hat(S) that they want. This prevents elevating prices for victory tokens because of profiteers taking advantage of ANet's lack of thought. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 120.29.34.142 (talk) at 04:48, 2012 June 29 (UTC).

No Way, SL said : "1 MASK per ACCOUNT per EVENT per YEAR", like the first time those masks were given. This is just equality between player ! Lots of people like me, who get many masks, have been spending hours to collect items, and waiting finales to get mask every events every years. Please people who got all hat's, had to do all that crap?...NOOOO!!!! you just AFK an outpost and rely on every1 elses hard work, not 1 dragon festival mask couldnt be leeched, so the logic is flawed to hell, and as said by second poster, most people wont give 2 shits about these events next year, gw1 is gonna be VERY dead in 2 month's, you can bank on it, so next time u wanna think u did all this special stuff for hats, make shore they cant be leeched when gotten the first time...so no it's not fair, some of us WORKING class had to miss these events, to pay for food and bills etc....infact my dad has every single has from eevry single festival and leeched 99% of them, so yeah --124.187.173.7 22:24, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

By your logic, whenever a character hits a birthday they should have the option of getting all the other birthday presents too, since you didn't even have to be online to receive them. The argument could be made the other way around, where as people "buy" thier way into masks. Conceivably a person can have as many as 15 character slots, and if each of them are allowed to get 1 token thats 15 sets of hats and / or grab bags. Since each grab bag is 250 points having 1 event grant nearly 4k points with a small amount of effort is rather ridiculous. I'm all for farming and working hard for your rewards, and I buy into the "I was busy in RL" argument, but at the same time we have to understand where parts of the game start to break and become unfair in an unintended direction.A Liability 23:15, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

(Reset indent) It's just a mask. I think the thing to be more concerned about is the fact that they've changed it to this. @RandomWeirdGuy=ur logic is flawed, cus u can log on at anytime and your charcters B-Day presnet will still be there, you dont have to LOG IN ON YOUR CHARACTERS EXACT BIRTHDAY, i mean u can take upto 2 years off come back and have 2 present's on 1 character, so dont try that logic crap on me, unless u got good logic to use,, and

I only have a single mask from this festival, yet I totally understand why they made it. This is the best possible solution. Haters will be hating but still, if you want a particular hat, now is the time to get it. In the face of GW2, there is not a single other free online game getting this kind of support 4 years after the last expansion was sold. Collecting the masks year after year showed dedication and carried a certain prestige factor. Now anyone can get one.  :(

Stackable after all?

I had a token in my inventory from a past year, and just turned in this year's quest; the new token stacked with the old one. I have a screenshot if we need. Anyone else experiencing this? LAZ (talk) 02:42, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
